DF1118 is a FUYIN Acrylic Foam Tape of medium density, grey foamed
acrylic adhesive with additional acrylate adhesive on both sides.
Typical applications are attachments of add-on-parts such as trims and
emblems/inserts on low energy surfaces without pretreatments
(Primer/Deseaming), especially Polypropylene.
DF1118 possesses a good adhesion to many automotive surfaces, good
inner strength, excellent long term stability as well as a very good adaptability
to the areas adhered to. In combination with primer the tape achieves a good
plasticiser resistance and assures a good adhesion to elastomeric
add-on-parts. Thru the unique viscoelastic property of the DF1118, stress is
decreased in the adhesive bond line so that durable bondings are formed.
The liner is especially applicable for converting in die cut processes.
